Babinski reflex

This is one of those delightful little things only babies do. Stroke down the little-toe side of your baby's foot with your finger. Instead of curling or flexing his little toes downward, he will lift them up in extension and splay them out. Cool medical school stuff.

The Babinski response is present until about 4 to 6 months of age (normally present in 10% of 6 month olds), and disappears completely by 9 to 12 months.
