EEG

The EEG or electroencephalogram is a record of electrical activity in the human brain. It is part of the evaluation of known or suspected seizure disorders. An abnormal EEG does not in and of itself mean that the patient has a seizure disorder, nor does a normal EEG mean that there is definitely no problem. The EEG is one of the tools a neurologist uses in the diagnosis of brain conditions.
