Ewing sarcoma

Ewing sarcoma is a cancerous tumor that usually arises in bone, but may arise from soft tissue. It belongs to a family of related tumors. Symptoms of Ewing sarcoma often mimic osteosarcoma or osteomyelitis, with pain, swelling, and sometimes fever or weight loss. Treatment involves chemotherapy to shrink the tumor, followed by surgery.
